Should've done this at 12 midnight, but....^^; I can't believe it's 2004! 0_o;;
Gonna have to start worrying about school.@_@ Like bills and what my 5th class should be in spring and emailing ILEC people about stuff they were supposed to do over spring break.... Gah.0_o; (Ooh, and check out how that sentence is so grammatically awkward.)
In other news: blog template updates. The reason I never received a reply from that website was because she doesn't have internet access until January (hey, that's today!)....and then the other website I was thinking of using VANISHED! WTF??? Of course it would vanish!>_< I knew I should've d/led the template from the start! *claws air* Oh wait... I already mentioned the vanishing in my last post.^^;;;;;;;;;; Oops.
Er. Well, anyway, the marathon was a success!^^ We started at around 9:25 AM and ended at 8:45 PM when we came out of the theatre. That's some insane amount of movie watching. I am definitely going to get myself the uncut version of TT. It's just, like 10 times better, because they actually have Legolas' and Gimli's final tally in there! And Legolas doesn't act inexplicably ancient! (Sheesh, he was most likely born in the Third Age, why does he persist in behaving as if he's as old as Cirdan?) Ok, I'm being a bit harsh, most likely because I still a bit sore that they cut out the "if I go to the Glittering Caves you've got to come to Fangorn with me" bit, and the "I'm off to chase the sun" bit, and the "After that, I suppose, he turned his arms into wings and flew away singing into the trees" bit. Not to mention all signs of intelligence or appreciation of beauty from Gimli. Yes, I realize they can't fit the cool stuff about mere minor side-characters into the movies, but that doesn't mean I can't complain about it.^_~ Still, it was a good movie, worth spending 9 bucks to see on the big screen, several times over. Oh, and how about the scene where they're all about to leave Fangorn and Legolas sees the eyes of the Ents and goes, "Ooh ooh! Eyes! Let's turn back!" and Gimli's like, "Nooo!!! Lemme off!!!" They could've at least kept that, couldn't they??;__;
...Ok, I'll shut up.^^;
