Depressing and depressing

Well, I'm back. In my dorm room, that is. I was kinda happy before like I usually am but then something kinda just fell apart. Should NOT have read that stupid Times article about gay marriages. Very VERY dumb of me, because then I hear people indirectly comparing homosexuality to "adult incest, prostitution, masturbation, adultery, fornication (??), bestiality, and obscenity." They do this by saying that allowing gay marriages will "challenge state laws...that prohibit" the above list. One guy said in regards to the polygamy bit, "I wonder why there were no three people wanting to marry in San Francisco. Why two? Why not three?" (Times magazine, March 8, 2004 issue: p. 33)

WTFWTFWTFWTFWTFWTFWT..... My head hurts. First of all it is not ANY of anybody's freakin' business what people decide to do with their freakin' time. I didn't even KNOW there were laws against masturbation (apparently so, according to the article). Like, the HELL? Who's gonna be checking, the peeping tom next door??
But that's besides the point. The point is that these people are comparing two people who could love each other just as much as any straight couple to sex with donkeys and sex with one's mother and selling oneself for money (and by the way, some of these people have NO other choice, so those stuck-up spoiled rich close-minded bastards looking down on them with their noses up in the air should have said noses CHOPPED OFF).

All these homosexual people are asking for is the civil rights of marriage. Who do those blind idiots think they are to deny rights to fellow human beings?

My head. My head my head my head. My heart too. I'm going to give myself a stroke one of these days. And people ask me why I don't keep up on current events. May I be a hermit please?????

Ok, I'm gonna think about my nice haircut. And...and writing. And friends. Yes, there is still hope in this horrible horrible world. There really is. I just have to think really hard and not be negative. Yup. *OOOOOHMMMMMMMMMM*

I feel new!

At the behest of a faithful commenter (*snicker*), I am writing a brand new entry! But I think I was planning to do that today anway, because......I got a haircut!^_^ Now my hair's all short and bobbed and...stuff. Yeah. It's cool because now it's out of my way and I get the feeling it'll dry really fast even without using a blowdryer. *does victory sign* Haha! Hair, you shall not defeat me!

Regarding the list...here is an updated version:
-Work on Japanese composition
-Actually finish Japanese composition
-Fill out FAFSA (online cuz they didn't send me the paper version)
-Fill out CSS Profile online (I...er, did the registration part?)
-Mail out tax return forms (It involved a long and strenuous trek to our mailbox.)
-Finish d/ling Hundred Stories so I can compell sister to burn copies of it
-Catch up on genetics reading (I give this one a big fat BLAH.)
-Fail to quit making pointless lists

Wheee! Haircut! Wheeee!!! *ahem AHEM*

Right, anyway, commenters! Fire away! A whole new entry for you guys to talk about stuff that has nothing to do with the actual entry! (...or we could all just hide from "one person," whose identity has been unfortunately unmasked, alas alas. Does that rhyme?)

Lists and lists

Actually I only have one list.^^; Things to do for the remainder of break and things I have (*triumph!*) finished already:

-Read Plutarch's Pompey
-Read Plutarch's Julius Caesar
-Read Suetonius' Julius Caesar (All in one day, baby!)
-Work on Japanese composition
-Fill out FAFSA
-Fill out CSS Profile online
-Make copies of tax returns
-Mail out tax return forms so I can get my taxes returned (would've gotten it done today but the mailman came freakin' early!)
-Compell sister to burn copies of Hundred Stories and Matantei Loki Ragnarok so I can finally delete them off my CD burner-less computer
-Torture more characters...I mean, write really good stories with them in it
-Catch up on genetics reading
-Quit making pointless lists

My life in a nutshell. And this commenting option gets more and more entertaining every day... (See entry below) I hope "one person" has been sufficiently distracted by promises of strawberries and new books, though the fact that we're announcing his weakness to the whole wide world probably does not make him kindly inclined toward us.^^;

Current music...

"Numb," by Linkin Park (I used to think they were called "Lincoln Park," lol. I wonder how many people made the same mistake...).

Current drink: chocolate flavored soy milk of the American variety. (Why do they insist on marketing soy milk as some weird imitation of cow's milk? It's NOT milk, peoples, and it's never going to taste like milk. Quit trying. *rolls eyes*)

Current things which need to be done: read Plutarch's "Life of Pompey" (Damn you, Pompey...damn you...you did too much and died too late and now your bio lasts freakin' forever....), work on Japanese composition, catch up on genetics reading (OMG there's like 4 chapters!!! *wordless cry of horror*), work on history paper (which entails reading Plutarch's "Life of Julius Caesar" and Suetonius' "Julius Caesar." I really want to say thank goodness for the Ides of March, except that'd probably be mean of me. So I'll just think it), work on financial aid papers (*another wordless cry, this time of frustration*)... And I think that's it. Oh yeah, and apologize for totally forgetting about the conference call yesterday *wince* because, you know, it was spring break... (*tries to run from the "IRRESPONSIBLE" sign characters are holding over head*)

....that's a...really long list.0_o; Waaaah...I dun wanna do it, I wanna write and draw...!!

Sentinel: Do homework!!

...mou, you're mad at me again...;___;

Sentinel:.....*GLARE*

Eep...kowai!;_; Just because you're suffering a lot in the current story doesn't mean you have to be so scary...!

Sentinel: You...you...!!!
Thanatos: Give it up, Sentinel, she's a typical cat crying over a mouse.

Hidoi, Thanatos! And translating Chinese proverbs into English sounds dumb!

Thanatos: Well, if you could figure out how to use the Chinese interface on Windows XP, I'd be able to say it in Chinese!

Waaaah...don't remind me!!!!!>___< *watches as Thanatos and Sentinel run from the hideous noise* My characters show no sympathy to me...*sniffle* But then again...I don't exactly show them any sympathy so I guess we're even.^^;; Such is the life of writers: a constant cycle of battles, shaky compromises, and occasional bribes between the characters and the poor sleepless individual trying to get their life stories down... Unless of course, you're that one author who said that he treated his characters like galley slaves...0_o;

Charon: *twitch* Galley...slaves...?
Nemesis (from far away): GALLEY SLAVES?? I'll have you know I'm NO ONE's slave and how DARE you insinuate that... Thanatos, leggo! I have to give her a piece of my mind, leggo! Hey, stop dragging me!!

Oiya oiya....@_@ It's so loud in my head....
